Student Options - Simple and Useful
If your students can use a browser, they can use MaxTrax. After the login screen, they are presented with a list of options appropriate for their access level. The student interface is simple and straight-forward.
- My Courses - Access your personalized training assignments.
- My Reports - Access information about your personal training status.
- My Information - View or modify your personal information, such as your name, location, and email address.
Administrator Options - Secure and Powerful
System Administrators can easily:
- Add and edit students, lessons, courses, classes and organizations.
- Assign courseware to students either individually or by organization and class.
- Configure validation and login settings, notification settings, global settings, and language style for messages and labels.
- Grant selected users access to the Reporter Options and define additional Administrator accounts.
Reporter Interface - Easy and Comprehensive
The Reporter Interface allows managers, supervisors and administrators to view a wide range of useful status reports including Student Records and Summaries, and Lesson, Course, Class and Organization Reports.
In one easy to read table, Reporters can view training assignment, status, schedules and other details that help to manage compliance and competency. In addition, Reporters can save their MaxTrax reports as documents or export them as email.
Hosting - A Turn Key Solution
The MaxTrax course management system is a turn-key solution for healthcare facilities because MaxTrax is "hosted" by PerforMax3. You have full administrative control of your dedicated courseware management system but don't have to worry about the infrastructure required to support the application.
A typical PerforMax3 healthcare client will use MaxTrax to deliver training from the PerforMax3 Courseware Catalog and will use the platform to deliver training developed in-house. In fact, MaxTrax can be used to deliver virtually any third party courseware through the same simple student /user interface.
Courseware Compatibility
The communication between training courseware and a courseware management system is an important "compatibility" consideration when choosing either courseware or a management system.
PerforMax3 uses SCORM as a communication standard. SCORM is the "definitive" standard for interoperability. MaxTrax supports both SCORM version 1.2 and the 2004/1.3. MaxTrax implements the communication elements listed in the SCORM 1.2 and 1.3 Runtime Environment Specification. Any courseware (including individual .html pages) can be tracked as long as it can send the appropriate SCORM calls via JavaScript.
SCORM is a collection of standards and specifications supported through the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative, which comes out of the Office of the United States Secretary of Defense, to provide a comprehensive suite of e-learning capabilities that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of web-based learning content.
